WHY SUPPORT US?

FRC changes lives and transforms communities!

In just two seasons this program has become a magnet for top students, hands-on learners, and the STEM and business minded. It has created a palpable buzz and excitement for STEM, fostered school spirit and has both fostered and changed student’s career paths.  It has outfitted our school with cutting edge tools and equipment and has connected us with FRC teams across the GTA, Ontario and Quebec. But running an FRC team is a multi-thousand dollar project!

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM TEAM EXPENSES

OUR STORY

Our team was created and sustained over our first two years thanks to an incredibly generous FIRST Robotics Rookie Grant and an annual grant from TDSB covering our registration costs.  We had created a grassroots fundraising plan that would make us a sustainable team for years to come until this year when FRC announced it will move to a district model in Ontario.  This means that even with the ongoing support of the TDSB, our registration cost has increased by $2500 just to continue to participate!

If the community does not rally to support this team, we will not survive the transition to the new district model. We urgently need your help!
